A simple project for a larger effect, the extension of an existing causeway box culvert to expand a mine haul road from a single to a dual lane carriageway and improve internal mine dump truck movements within the quarry. The culverts support the load of 7m of fill along with the mine traffic loads, with hydraulic capacity for the flood flows from the onsite clean water mine dam.
